I have known Terah both personally and professionally for over 17 years now. To say I met a woman back then who would change the trajectory of my life by helping me transform my "emotional life" is an understatement. In the best sense of the word a soulmate friendship is a kindred spirit: a champion for your victories, a shoulder to lean on and find your balance again, a hand to hold as you cry the tears of a broken heart. All this and more I was blessed with when I met Terah in the Fall of 1999. If I were stuck in a remote village in Nepal and had one quarter left and found a pay phone I would call her - because I would have a direct line to her heart, which is where Terah lives and has taught me how to live there too. It took awhile for me to lay down my sword - a tough childhood robbed me of the ability to trust myself or anyone, let alone my own heart. But Terah is gifted with a keen insight about matters of the heart, the motivations behind our behavior or lack of action because of fears. I have called on her many times when I was not able to "unstick" myself. Her ability to be objective and clear is like water in a desert. Her gift of language has always found a way to speak directly to my heart, filling it back up with light and teaching me how to access that light myself. She helps you to see in the gentlest of ways that it's when we pick ourselves back up that we develop character, and perhaps how we pick ourselves back up that matters most.
