Personal Memoir: Live webinar with author Terah Cox
3 Hrs. ~ Includes break for short writing assignment followed by sharing. Limit 5 participants per class. (Classes will be added if registration exceeds5 participants.)
US, EST: Sat, Aug 31, 2019 | Time: 12-3pm (UK = 18:00-21:00)
AU/NZ: Sun, 1 Sep 2019 | Time: 10:00-13:00 (US =8/10, 8pm)
Everyone has something interesting and compelling in their life story worthy of sharing. Sometimes it’s an event or accumulation of circumstances that over time cultivate character. Or a grand life adventure, journey of self-discovery, remarkable achievement, unusual spiritual experience, moment of heroism, or even infamous behavior can be inspiring or entertaining! Some of the most compelling personal memoirs are written by seemingly ordinary people who find themselves in extraordinary life situations in which they beat the odds and wrangled triumph from tragedy, hope from hopelessness, wisdom from adversity, humor and humility from humiliation, and so on. And they came through it all with a “map” of experience that might guide others through their own long dark nights or winding roads into new horizons of possibility. Or alternatively, some memoirs are written by people who simply knew and hung out with some interesting people or who witnessed extraordinary events.
Whatever your own story is, this webinar will help you figure out why and how to tell it.
