If you don’t want to do it yourself, I can do it for you! Includes formatting and layout of your book content in Microsoft Word, cover design and layout, acquisition of ISBN, and registration, submission and proofing of book and cover files to Amazon’s Kindle print and e-book publishing services.
To get started you will need to email me the MS Word file of your completed manuscript, and answer a few questions like what size do you want your book to be, white or off-white pages, and so on. While I am formatting your book, you can start thinking about the book cover and any particular images or ideas you might want incorporated in the design. Then while you are proofing your book for any last minute edits,* I will get started on the cover layout.
Once everything meets your approval, uploading and registration with Amazon will begin. You will then be able to review a digital or pdf proof, or receive an actual hard copy of your book for proofing. Upon your final approval, you will see your book for sale on Amazon.com usually within a day or two!
This process could take anywhere from 1-4 weeks, depending on the logistics involved with last minute editing, proofing, etc.
* Note: If you wind up requiring extensive edits to your book after it has been formatted, there would be an additional charge, to be negotiated at that time. So it’s a good idea to get all your re-writes and editing done before we start this process! If you need an editor, check out our editing services.
