I've spent most of my life putting pieces of me into cubbyholes...daughter, student, wife, parent, caregiver, etc., and splitting those assigned pieces into roles that would be acceptable and correct. Working with the Birth Angels material together with my mother has been instrumental in deepening our relationship.
