Writer-for-Hire Services
In addition to being an author, word-art designer and lyric writer under contract to various music publishers throughout the world, my professional creative career has been a kaleidoscope of book writing (poetry, personal memoir, self-help and spiritual themes), commissioned and contract writing and editing, web and print content, research and design projects across many fields. These include the fields of advertising and public relations (marketing materials, jingles and slogans); biodynamic agriculture; organic herbal cosmetics, skin care and therapy products; nutrition and alternative medical modalities; real estate, music, etc. My work in these areas has spanned website concept and content development; product descriptions; corporate mission statements, histories and executive biographies; CD liner notes and artist bios; research, newsletters and brochures; PhD application essays, and more.
Corporate Content Writer: One of my interesting long-term contracts was with Aura-Soma Colour-Care-System in the U.K., which sources their own biodynamic farm and esoteric inspirations to create color products as tools for self-discovery and higher consciousness. My 2+ years contract as a writer involved communicating the spiritual underpinnings in their commercial and educational offerings and helping to deepen the association of their "Equilibrium" products with the Angelic Kabbalah. Additional tasks included writing and editing for brochures, product and press releases, and content for a new website. Ghostwriting, Editing & Book Design. My current extensive work as a ghostwriter, editor and book designer (2020-2022) has included a collaboration on three poetry collections with Canadian writer-photographer Joni Grâce: Feeling in the Gap, Carried Away, and The Ongoing, as well as an ongoing personal memoir project with another long-time client. Like my long career writing lyrics for recording artists, collaborating on poetry collections and personal memoirs are some of the most intimate and rewarding projects I've been involved with since they require attuning deeply with the psyche and voice of my collaborator.

Private Commissions
I've been commissioned to do custom writing for a variety of private events, including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, housewarmings, living tributes and memorials. Probably the most moving commission I have done was a memorial book for the family of an artist who passed away at the height of her career. For that project I created a writing that weaved in the titles of some of her works not only as a tribute to her work, but a lasting message of love and encouragement to her family.
One of my favorite commissions was to write and design a large poetry-art wall piece for a family who had bought a house from a couple who had built it with their own hands and hearts, incorporating materials from an old convent and relics with hidden Hebrew letters and other fascinating elements. The house was magical -- like something out of Harry Potter's Hogwarts. The family wanted a writing that would honor its history, as well as the hopes and dreams of their own family, and as a welcoming for all who would enter. I spent an afternoon and evening there, feeling the house, walking among the beautiful "cathedral of trees" and talking with the couple and their three children about their feelings for the house. On my way home I suddenly began to "hear" the voice of the house as the title and first line for the piece emerged -- "I am the house that love built...." -- with more coming as I pulled over to the side of the road to take it all down. In the days that followed, I interviewed the original builders and did some more back-and-forth with the family. The deeper I listened, the more I was given, until -- voila! A joyful co-creation was had by all!
