About the author...

Author Jo Massanari lives in Goshen, Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley—a small mountain community where people grow things, know their neighbors, and show up when it matters. She has spent her working life adjacent to the technology industry, close enough to see what was being built, and to feel even early on that something essential was being lost. She began this book by asking an AI honest questions—without prompts, without instructions, without knowing she could shape the answers. She simply asked, and followed wherever the truth led.

This book is her reckoning. And her hope.
