Book Description & Project Information
The Different Ships book will contain around 48 lyric-poems which explore the different kinds of hurt that are shredding the collective soul of America, and the hope so many of us have in our hearts to bring about the healing that we must believe is possible. The funding received for this first phase will help to cover time for writing, the hiring of a book illustrator, book design, layout and publication. The book is currently in progress and the aim is to publish sometime in 2019. This period will also include the pursuit of corporate sponsorships and the beginning of Phase 2 collaborations with some great music writers and artists to co-write and record the CD of 10-15 songs.
10% of your donation will be put in reserve as a charitable contribution for selected social change initiatives which we are currently researching. (See the "Different Ships" info page for more details + writing samples from the book.)
